The Secret Science Project that Almost Ate the School by Judy Sierra

There was a girl in elementary school that was having trouble coming up with a science project and everyone else had really good projects. The girl went on the internet and found a project that had dragon DNA in it what was guaranteed to win 1st place in any science fair. The thing came in a box and it ate the girls cat, sister, dad, and a lot of the kids at school. The girl found the instructions in her pocket and remembered to give the growing project, which was eating the people, sugar to stop it. She feed the monster sugar and the monster turned into CO2 and all the people came back. She didn’t win 1st place and she had to clean up the school. Clearly it was not the best science project ever.
