Summary: This book is similar to the traditional Beauty and the Beast. Except for the fact that Beauty is in no way beautiful..in the beginning. Her real name is Honour which plays a big part in her personality throughout the book because she forever stays honorable. She starts out with her dad and two sisters who are absolutely gorgeous and kind in every way. And they both have fallen in love with men lower than them in status so they're not even superficial. Beauty, on the other hand, has spots and is awkward and has big feet. But she is really smart and ambitious and she's loves her family very much. One day, he father's financial situation goes south. This causes Beauty to be sold to a hideous beast in a hideous castle. The rest of the story goes on as normal. The castle is enchanted and all sorts of mystical and mysterious things occur. And because she is not shallow, the beast turns into a handsome prince and she is unsure if she still has any affection for him. But it is his eyes that remind her of her love for him and so they lived happily ever after.
