Age Range: For infants and children in preschool
Summary: The Silly Sisters is the story of two mice, Lulu and Mimi, who live next door to each other and are best of friends. They do everything together, they dress alike, and they love to be silly. One day, they have a big fight. The next day, they don’t see each other. They try to play with other friends, but it isn’t the same. They miss each other, but they are angry. Finally, Mimi’s mother has an idea. Mimi records her apology on the tape recorder Lulu left at her house, leaves it on her back step, and hides. When Lulu answers the door, she hears Mimi’s apology and laughs. Lulu jumps out of the bushes and laughs too, and they are best friends again. This is a cute story about relationships. The moral is that saying you are sorry isn’t always easy, but it is the best way to mend a relationship.
